The RL1600 Series Stainless Steel Weigh Module is designed to deliver exceptional performance in medium- to heavy-capacity weighing applications. Built by Rice Lake Weighing Systems, this complete kit is a perfect solution for mounting on tanks, hoppers, and bins, especially in environments prone to corrosion, thermal changes, or harsh industrial conditions.
Each kit features three or four RL1600 stainless steel compression mounts, coupled with the highly reliable MLC-coated RL75016 double-ended shear beam load cells. These load cells are constructed from alloy steel and are environmentally sealed for long-term durability.
What sets the RL1600 Series apart is its self-checking design, which simplifies installation by allowing the module to be directly bolted to a tank leg—eliminating the need for additional mounting plates or load buttons. The system also comes equipped with a JB4SS NEMA Type 4X junction box, ensuring secure signal trimming and system integrity.
A 25 ft hostile environment EL147HE SURVIVOR® cable is included to handle tough installation conditions. With capacities ranging from 1,000 to 75,000 lb, this module is engineered to deliver unmatched reliability and repeatability.
