The MSI-8000HD is the next evolution of rugged industrial weigh indicators, purpose-built to endure the most demanding environments in petrochemical, marine, aerospace, and heavy manufacturing sectors. It is a heavy-duty upgrade to the MSI-8000 handheld RF remote, fortified with a military-grade milled anodized aluminum enclosure rated IP68 to fully resist dust, moisture, and impact.
Designed for ultimate compatibility with all MSI ScaleCore™-based crane scales and dynamometers, the MSI-8000HD seamlessly connects via 2.4 GHz RF, with a range of up to 300 feet (line of sight). It’s ideal for outdoor, elevated, or inaccessible scale locations—making it a natural fit for overhead cranes and tension load monitoring.
This smart indicator features a six-digit, 1 in LCD and user-definable keys to adapt to your workflow, whether switching units, performing peak hold tests, viewing gross/net, or setting total weights. The optional 24-bit A/D module transforms it into a fully functional scale controller, supporting up to two independent or summing load cell inputs.
For enhanced integration, the MSI-8000HD offers dual RS-232 ports, and optional Wi-Fi, FHSS, or wired Ethernet, enabling traceable communication with networks, printers, or data systems. You can also add up to 8 configurable relay outputs for control processes and safety triggers.
