The MSI-8000HD builds upon the success of its handheld predecessor, the MSI-8000, and delivers a ruggedized, waterproof solution for demanding industrial weighing tasks. Featuring an IP68-rated milled anodized aluminum enclosure, this remote display is engineered for use in petrochemical, marine, energy, and aerospace environments where exposure to moisture, chemicals, or extreme temperatures is common.
Equipped with a 1.0-inch high-visibility six-digit LCD display, the MSI-8000HD offers excellent readability in all lighting conditions. The device provides dual RS-232 ports, up to four TTL channels, and flexible connectivity options including Wi-Fi, wired Ethernet, and 802.15.4 RF radio link. The model also supports two A/D inputs, allowing summing or independent load cell signal monitoring, and is compatible with all MSI ScaleCore™-based systems, including the MSI-7300 Dyna-Link 2 and MSI-4260 Port-A-Weigh.
For added functionality, the MSI-8000HD comes with user-definable function keys, selectable display units (lbs, kg, kN, etc.), service counters, and configurable relays for automation or process control.
