The Speed Sensor is a critical component of any belt scale system, designed to continuously monitor the speed of a conveyor belt by being mechanically coupled to a rotating shaft. It generates a frequency signal that correlates directly to the shaft speed, enabling precise calculation of material flow rate when used with a weigh frame and integrator.
Typically installed on the non-driven tail pulley of a conveyor system, this speed sensor ensures that real-time velocity data is always available for accurate weight integration and totalization. With no complex calibration requirements and durable construction, it offers reliable performance across mining, quarry, cement, agriculture, and material handling industries.
Ensure consistent, real-time belt speed measurements with this precision speed sensor. Contact us SellEton Scales today to request a quote or integrate it into your belt scale system.
