Where rodents or abrasion pose a threat, the EL147RP features a tinned copper overbraid and an advanced "NAW" chemical coating to deter pests and enhance durability. The EL147HE is engineered for hostile environments with a robust polyurethane jacket that resists chemicals and abrasion while maintaining high flexibility. For intrinsically safe applications, the EL147IS utilizes a polyurethane over PVC double jacketing with foil and braided wire shields, and it must be wired according to the Factory Mutual System-approved diagram.
