The Rice Lake 221DB Master™ Belt Scale Weigh Frame is engineered for high-performance belt conveyor weighing, offering a rugged, accurate, and easy-to-install solution for medium to heavy-capacity systems. Designed to be mounted on the outside of the conveyor, the 221DB requires minimal structural modification, simplifying the installation process.
This weigh frame uses a two-arm design, where the weighing roller (idler) is supported by load cell-equipped arms mounted to the side supports of the conveyor. These arms pivot freely, allowing for frictionless movement, which improves weighing precision and reduces wear.
Constructed from powder-coated mild steel, the frame also offers optional upgrades to galvanized or stainless steel for use in more demanding environments. With compatibility for a wide range of conveyor widths—from 18 to 72 inches—and support for belt speeds up to 800 feet per minute, this weigh frame is well-suited for most industrial operations.
